Schaumburg, IL (February 7, 2006). Effective Data (ED), a private Schaumburg - based EDI Consulting and Data Integration firm, has once again been selected by Briggs & Stratton to complete electronic data interchange (EDI) services.

Wauwatosa, WI – based Briggs & Stratton has once again partnered with Effective Data to complete their critical EDI projects. Effective Data is now assisting the engine powerhouse with two major data integration initiatives. Briggs & Stratton has purchased the Murray Corporation. The first project will included incorporating Murray into Briggs current EDI environment. This will be a multi-phased project that will require integrating the two companies EDI operating units into one. The second project will consist of transitioning Briggs current EDI environment into a BizTalk and SAP based environment. ED has/will assist with all phases of these projects, from software selection to final implementation.
