Blain’s Farm & Fleet deliver with ED
Schaumburg, IL (September 22, 2005). Effective Data (ED), a private Schaumburg - based
EDI and Data Integration Consulting firm, has been selected by Blain’s Supply to complete
Electronic Data Interchange services.
Janesville, Wisconsin – based Blains Supply owns and operates 33 Blain’s Farm and Fleet
stores. Blain’s has partnered with ED to complete extensive EDI services. Among other duties,
Effective Data will implement the 856 transaction set and integrate it into Blain’s proprietary
ERP system. Once completed, this process will streamline Blain’s trading partner
communications. All of Blain’s Farm & Fleet trading partners will benefit from this procedure.
