End of Support for IBM B2Bi V5.2.6 and IFG V2.2.6

Effective September 30, 2021, IBM® has announced that they will withdraw support for Products IBM B2B Integrator V5.2.6 and IBM File Gateway V2.2.6.        

It is also important to note that based on this we want to make clear that the versions B2Bi 5.2.6.x and IFG 2.2.6.x (like 5.2.6.1/5.2.6.2/5.2.6.3/5.2.6.4/5.2.6.5) are impacted as well, since these had been versions where one installed the FixPack from FixCentral. Clients of discontinued versions will continue to receive support through the published end of support date.

To take advantage of new features, enhancements, and the latest security updates and defect fixes, clients are encouraged to upgrade to the latest program versions of B2B Integrator and File Gateway. Clients with current maintenance are eligible to upgrade to V6.0.

IBM B2B Integrator V6.0, IBM File Gateway V6.0, and Global High Availability Mailbox add-on deliver:

• Security features and high availability for file-based B2B integration, through the Global Mailbox file-based synchronization across data centers, to support disaster recovery
• Enablement for a hybrid cloud integration platform that supports Docker containers and cloud deployment
• Virtually seamless interaction with existing systems through new and updated RESTful APIs to take advantage of emerging technologies
